Keeley River's Blessing Day

Keeley was blessed on June 3rd by her dad. We were glad that Grammy Jo, Bampa, and Grandma Nancy were able to be here for such a special day. We got to church early to take some pictures, which is no small feat when you consider we normally have to leave our house by 8:00 to get to church on time. Grandma Nancy had made beautiful white dresses for all three girls to wear, and Keeley's dress was so gorgeous.
Unfortunately, Keeley wasn't being terribly cooperative for the photo shoot. She was wide awake and required some vigorous jouncing to calm her down in between photos.
After an adorable picture of the other kids, we headed in to church.

At my insistance, we returned during sunday school to try again with the pictures, and I think we got some great ones.

The whole group. It was such a great day for our family.

Sareny wanted to hold her baby sis. She is really such a big help with Keeley and loves her so much.
Not my favorite picture, but me with my precious little girl.

Finley's Blessing Day

Our sweet little Finley Lynn was blessed on Sunday at church by her dad. She was so beautiful in her dress that her grandma Nancy made her. I loved the little bonnet--it was adorable. Finley also had a special blessing afghan made by her Grammy Jo, and my good friend Sandra made her a tiny bracelet to wear on her special day. It was so nice to see several good friends that made a special effort to be there on our day--the Gardners, the Stuckies, the Chiltons, and the Dominguez family, as well as all of our good friends in our ward. We love all of you!

My boy is 2 today!

Exactly two years ago today, my little Isaac Jeffrey made his appearance into the world. He was the cutest little boy I ever saw. I expected him to be bald like his sister was, but I was pleasantly surprised by his beautiful light brown hair. The nurses all oohed and aahed over it and said it looked like it had been bleached by the sun. It was a sad day when it all fell out and he was bald.
He has grown into such a sweet little boy. He loves to snuggle and give kisses, and he loves his big sister "Hey-nee," as he calls her. He also likes cars, trains, and hitting people. (We're working on that last one.) He always makes the cutest and silliest expressions and is so much fun. I don't know what I would do without my boy--I can hardly remember life without him.
Here is my boy on his blessing day wearing a cute little sailor suit in honor of his great grandpa Keel who was in the Navy.

And here is my boy now, with the prettiest blue eyes, dimples, and curly blond hair.
