Fun in the Water

Later that same day, we decided to let the kids run around in the sprinklers. They had a blast.
I think you'll be able to tell from this sequence of pictures that holding the hose was definitely everyone's favorite part.
The kids all lined up to go down the slide...
With Sareny waiting at the bottom to spray them all.
Such fun!
They rotated back and forth from the big slide and the little slide.
And they traded who got to be the sprayer.

Keeley isn't really very fond of getting sprayed in the face.
But she managed to have a little bit of fun.

And then things got really crazy.
Actually, Grammy and Bampa decided that the swingset needed to come down, since it was rusting at the base and not very sturdy. It didn't take much for Bampa to push it over. The kids pretended like they were in the middle of playing when it went down.

And KeeKee really wondered why she couldn't get in the swing anymore.
It was a fun weekend visiting with family!

Visiting Grammy Jo and Bampa

We decided to visit Grammy and Bampa and go to the Clark County Fair. We got there late Thursday April 11th, and the next morning while Grammy was at work, the kids played around outside and found a neighbor's cat.
They followed it around for a while.
Finley was smiling super cute!
Later in the day, we took the kids to the park.
They had lots of fun playing around.

Keeping up with Keeley is no easy task!
She is a climber, and very energetic!
Someone had to be on KeeKee duty at all times.
She liked the swings.
I wish someone besides Sareny would learn how to pump themselves in the swings! Seriously!
Isaac is trying to learn, but just hasn't gotten it down yet.
Then that evening, Sareny opened her present from Grammy and Bampa...she loved it!
It was a dream come true! Her very own tiara.
Grammy ordered it special from the same catalogs they get the homecoming queen's from.
Here she is modeling it...this item was actually on her list.
Isaac modeled the ribbon off the box.
Grammy also packed it in this super cute box.
Isaac once again got the camera...and took a picture of this giant bear that is/was Lexi's. The kids love this thing for some reason.
The next morning before we went to the fair, Grammy Jo made a yummy breakfast and Bampa took the kids on a ranger ride. And then it was off to the fair!

The Bridge

On the way home to Phoenix, we decided to stop on the Mike O'Callaghan/Pat Tillman bridge that bypasses Hoover dam.
We stopped by the Welcome to Nevada sign that greets drivers--the road is just beyond that barrier in the photo above.
It was pretty cool to walk along the bridge and see Hoover dam far below us.
Most people walk out a bit, but turn around before they reach the apex. Here is proof that we made it! Honestly, it seemed farther out than I expected it.
Sareny stood in two states at the same time!
Finley sat down for me to take her picture.
And Isaac was my cute little boy, walking with me and wanting to stop so I could take his picture.
I love my handsome boy!
A few more pictures at the bottom.
We had a fun little side trip on our way home!
