Lately it seems my life is all about poop. Not my poop, mind you. But when you have two kids in diapers, and one whom it sometimes seems like she should be, well, you deal with a lot of poop on a daily basis.
Today was just your average run of the mill type of day. Sareny went #2, then proceeded to climb up onto the bathroom counter to talk to herself in the mirror and made a big smear all over. Kind of makes me thankful that I was a day late on my cleaning schedule, since yesterday was bathroom cleaning day.
Isaac, bless his little heart, is just an extremely "regular" little boy who goes three times a day. In a diaper. That sometimes leaks all over.
And Finley just accomplished the biggest blowout I have ever seen in my entire life. When I picked her up, I figured I must have forgotten to put a diaper on her since there was poop all over her and the swing. (And yes Johnny, it was even worse than the legendary bumbo incident.)
So I go from one stinkin' mess to another, occasionally getting a little frustrated. And then I look into their little faces. And fall in love.
Ask Sareny to pose and you get this.
Ask Isaac to pose and you get this.

Ya gotta love 'em. It's just poop. Yeah, easy for me to say, right? Just tell them NEVER to do that kind of stuff at Grammy Jo's house! Love the cute little pic of Finley!! So cute. And of course Sare too. And Isaac's is typical...cute in it's own way :)
Don't you just love being a mom! We really do get all the fun jobs.
Uggg...I HATE poop! And I will leave it at that...
that's a really cute picture of finley with her tongue sticking out.
today i learned that bilirubin makes your poop brown. the kids are cute.
oh and those byu shirts are indeed 5 dollars. so i can get you guys shirts and bring them to grandma's party. what sizes do you need?
I don't miss those days. The pictures of the kids are absolutely adorable :)
Kids and poop. Even though both of mine are potty trained, I still get to deal with their poop. Every time either one goes, I hear, "Mom! Come here and look at my poop!" LOL!
We went to the Grossology exhibit that was at the Science Center this summer and I liked that much more than the real *stuff*.
Good job of finding the cute little faces in all of that mess. Way to stay focused on the important!
I hear ya, I've been there! Hang in there lady!
Ah, the bumbo incident... So odd that it was the time Isaac looked most happy to see me, as if he were saying, "Come here, Tio Johnny...I have a surprise for youuu!"
Pics of the kids are cute!
I used to be a nanny for triplets and I could tell you some stories about poop. I will just be happy to report that they had a house keeper.
I am with you Charlene. Thank goodness that stage is gone.
I can relate in so many ways!
Oh, the things we do for our kids!
Poop makes me tired.
Oh yes... we have had many poop incidents at our house. Carson was my poop picker when he was a baby. He would pick it during nap time and I could smell it before I even opened the door! Ugh!!
