A couple months ago we formed a little babysitting group with two other families. It has been great! We watch kids once a month and go out twice a month. This past Saturday it was our turn to watch the kids while our friends went out. We only had one family of kids this time and decided to pull out the science kit that we got a few weeks ago and make volcanoes.
First the kids built a little volcano made of Baking soda, flour, water, and red cabbage juice powder. This made blue volcanoes! (And blue hands, but luckily that washed off easily.)
Then they made the volcanoes erupt using medicine droppers filled with a water and citric acid mixture.
We finished the night off with a movie and popcorn--what more could a kid possible want?

Sounds like a blast (for the kids anyway)! You better watch out or you'll be the permanent baby sitter every week. (Mom, can we please go to the Fallstom's again???? Pleeeeese!) Good Job, and cute pictures. I could see Finney looking on in one of them and trying to get a look at what's going on!
