Vampire Baby

Keeley's top teeth came in in the wrong order, and it was pretty cute! She looked like a little vampire baby.
It was really difficult to get a good picture of them, but I tried.
Her middle teeth poked through not long ago and within a week they were all the way in, so it is farewell to our vampire baby.

Toothless

Isaac had two loose teeth on the bottom for quite a while, but they just weren't going anywhere. Isaac knew that I had made Sareny a special pillow to put her teeth in. About a month before it finally came out, Keith asked Isaac if his tooth was ready to come out, and Isaac said, "Not yet, mommy hasn't made me a tooth pillow yet." I went home and started working on it that day!
Then Keith noticed that Isaac's new teeth were growing up behind the baby teeth, so we worked hard to get them out of there. Friday, May 11th, he lost his first tooth and the tooth fairy came for a visit. The second tooth came out the next day, so the tooth fairy came again. She was busy, and we can't believe that Isaac is such a big boy!

A Milestone

Sareny has her first loose tooth, and she is pretty excited. When I was little, my mom made me a special pillow with a pocket in it to put my tooth in, which the tooth fairy exchanged for money. That makes way more sense to me than sticking your tooth underneath your pillow, where it would surely get lost. Last night I made Sareny her very own little tooth pillow so we will be ready when the moment arrives.

Gratuitous pictures of Finley and her teeth

It seems that Finley has been absent (at least photographically) from the last few posts, so I thought I would include a few here. She has the cutest little smile. But look at those toofey's!

She started squinting from the flash.

She is such a little sweetie, and so independent. She is quite content to crawl around and play for quite a while, at least until an older sibling comes and bothers her. She doesn't like them to pick her up, take toys from her, touch her, or just generally disturb her. Of course, they want to do those things all the time, and she has gotten quite good at squacking when they do.

This past weekend she figured out how to climb up the stairs, all the way to the top. We were all sitting in the family room together when Isaac asked, "Where Hin?" I found her upstairs playing, all by herself. Yesterday, the gate was up blocking the stairs from the third step up, and she climbed up to it and stood there screaming because she couldn't go all the way up. Anyway, she's a cutie and we love her!
