I can't be the only one going through this...

It seems like everytime I turn around Isaac is taking off his diaper today. He woke me up this morning by calling from his bed "Mom! Potty!" When I went in he had taken off his pants and diaper and the front of his onesie was wet. (Which he had unsnapped.) Later he did take off his diaper, sit on his potty, and go potty in it all by himself, which was a major accomplishment. But since then he took off his pants and pooped on the floor, then took them off again and pottied on the floor. What is a mom to do?

Memorial Day

This Memorial Day we had Noel, Jewell, and their two kids Katlyn and Tyler come and stay with us. We had so much fun, and it was so nice to see the kids running around together. Katlyn is Sareny's only girl cousin on either side of the family and they are less than a year apart so they were really adorable together. They live in Utah and we only get to see them once or twice a year, so we were really glad they came to see us.

Keith and Noel are brothers, and they both love to play games, and most of our time together was spent playing different games. They brought one we hadn't played before called Ra, and it was a lot of fun. Can you believe we already ordered it from Amazon? We didn't really go anywhere or do anything too exciting, but it was just nice to hang out with family. Another highlight was seeing the girls in their matching dresses their grandma made them, and the boys in matching outfits she had sent them.

Fire Station

Yesterday we had a preschool field trip to the Tolleson Fire Department. They showed us their kitchen and workout room and let the kids climb in a fire truck. The fire fighters also talked about fire safety and stuff, and each kid got their own fire helmet. It was pretty interesting, and the kids seemed to have fun.

10th Anniversary

I decided to create my own blog, since I don't know how to post on our family's blog and I wanted to be able to post pictures and stuff. So we just had our 10th anniversary this past friday. We celebrated by going north a couple of hours near Sedona. We stayed at the Super 8 in Cottonwood, which sounds lame but was actually pretty fun. Keith was looking at bed and breakfast inns in the area, but since we had to take our kids with us, I told him to just get a place that had a pool. On Saturday we rode the Verde Canyon Railroad, which is a four hour round trip train ride. It was pretty cool. Each car had a viewing platform attached to it so you could go outside and enjoy the view. I was glad it wasn't any longer with the kids; although they enjoyed it, it was still a little difficult to keep them entertained and happy. So I'll put up a few pictures from our trip. If I can figure out how...
