The O'Fallstrom's St. Patty's Celebration

I love trying to make Holidays special for our family. Kids get excited by simple things, and I like looking for the simple things to turn a normal day into something special.

Lately, it seems like someone is always sick around here, and right now it is Isaac. Poor thing--he sat at the table for a minute, then said he wanted to lay down and he just crashed.

But between Isaac and Finley both needing attention all day, it was a little difficult putting on a party.

The cake isn't as fancy as my original visions, but it turned out perfect, I think.

I also bought the kids a green carnation at the grocery store today.
We had our traditional fare of corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes. Doesn't it look pretty?

your cake looks amazing! And I LOVE my children's museum membership and my science center membership and my aquarium membership (I rotate and try different memberships all the time.) Especially when my kids were your kid's ages, We used to meet friends every Thursday and honestly, I think I had more fun chatting with my girlfriends than the kids, well maybe it was a tie. Fun experiences are worth every penny! And if you go somewhere chances are you can use your children's museum membership in other cities which is very fun for the kids, do it!

Your cake is beautiful and the food looks fantastic! I'm so glad you try to make holidays special for the kiddies. They will have some great memories! But that picture of Finley crying was kind of sad. It's a good picture of her toofies though!

I am not one for planning. I wish that I was. It looks like it was a fun day at your house! It was my birthday and we didn't even have a cake!

I'm glad Mom clarified that Finney was crying. I thought she was smiling! You totally win best mom award. Rhys will have to come to your house on the holidays.
