Hawaiian Luau

We had a Hawaiian Luau this past weekend at my mom and dad's house. Sareny couldn't wait for the party to start and kept asking all day about it. After we had dinner she asked if the party was over. I said "nope," turned the Hawaiian music up, and started a congo line through the house. The kids thought that was the coolest thing they had ever seen before, and we had to keep the congo line going for a couple of songs. It was pretty hilarious. She seemed to expect something exciting to take place at the party, so we had to oblige her!

That sounds like such a fun idea. Did you guys just do it for the heck of it, or was there a reason behind it?

The sand itself is about 4-6 inches deep and the total depth of the sandbox (wood frame) is about maybe 8 inches or so? So not too bad, but good enough to dig in. Oh and to answer a question you asked me a while back about where Justin will be at for training. He will be in Alabama for 3 months of training. Yeee-haw!

Trust me... my house is not that clean. Plus I spent yesterday cleaning it. Also when you have a husband who has OCD, it is much easier to keep it clean the to deal with his stress! :-)
