Sculptures

Sareny's class did a science section where they studied different types of wood and paper. To finish off the section, they invited parents to come help their child create something out of scraps of wood and paper that we had sent in.

Sareny's dad got to visit her in the classroom and help her construct a beautiful pink butterfly. I think they both had a fun time.

We're so glad her school encourages parents to be so involved!

I am just getting caught up on all of your posts. Looks like you have been having lots of fun. Love the pictures from the impromptu photo shoot at Valley of Fire. It is the best place for photos!

I am quite impressed with how your school involves parents in their child's education. I think it's actually kind of unusual. Some schools don't seem to want parents coming in all the time. But I think it's a good thing. Cool that Keith got to go this time.

What a fun thing to do! Especially fun that Keith was able to go since dads are usually stuck at work all day. Cute butterfly!
