For the 100th day of school, the kindergartners were supposed to dress up like they were 100 years old. Even though they still had to wear their uniforms and just accessorize, they were the cutest things I ever saw. We borrowed this child sized walker from some friends, added glasses and fake suspenders, and we were good to go. Isaac walked hunched over and was creeping along. I told him we needed to move a little bit faster.
I also taught him to shake his fist in the air and yell, "Come back here, you young whippersnapper!" It was pretty adorable.
Some of the other kids in his class--Jack, Hannah, Isaac, Landon, and Savannah.
The powdered gray hair looked quite authentic in some kids. I felt it would have disapeared on Isaac's blond head, so we didn't do baby powder. Koston looked pretty silly.
Look at these girls! How precious. Lucas and Earl above, and Maddix, Haven, Avery, and Quinn below.
Deacon's sunspots, gray hair, and wrinkles were pretty awesome.
Here is the entire afternoon kindergarten. The walker landed Isaac a spot front and center for the group photo.
My handsome old man!
I also thought he looked a tiny bit like Ralphy, from A Christmas Story.
Sareny was eating lunch at the same time, so we went over to say hello to her. She loves that we stop in frequently, and all her friends love Keeley. And let's face it, I'm practically a celebrity there too--when I come in, all the little girls wave excitedly and run over to say hi. I just want to hold on to these years!

Isaac does look quite a bit like Ralphie! I've thought that many times. He has those same big, blue eyes. He sure was cute as a little old man. It was fun to see how all the kids dressed up. Those little girls were awesome. Isaac won the prize though! (if there was one)
